| I'm running 89mm wiseco's although blocks were sonic tested to find a good one and had it cryotreated . core shift can be a problem in the VG's and some walls can be as thin as 100thou before machining. I did this for 2 reasons 1/ 3.1 litre capacity 2/ match port the head chambers to new bore size which allows better deshrouding of ferrea 1mm valves . can be done with a GOOD BLOCK ..its 1mm in circumference bigger JUN ran 89mm engines for years
